My journey at Novonor
From 2019 to 2021, I had the privilege of interning in Novonor's Communications Department. Novonor is a multinational conglomerate that operates in the pulp and paper, energy, and other industries. During my internship, I gained valuable experience in various aspects of communication, including branding, marketing, advertising, and public relations.
Although my internship at Novonor did not involve UX/UI design, I believe the skills and knowledge I acquired there have helped me improve as a designer. For example, my branding experience taught me the importance of creating consistent visual identities that reflect a company's values and mission. My exposure to marketing and advertising also gave me insights into how to design interfaces that capture users' attention and encourage them to take action.
While the projects I worked on were more closely related to graphic design, I have included them to provide a more complete picture of my design process and thinking. Understanding the broader context in which design takes place is essential for creating effective and impactful user experiences.
Overall, my experience at Novonor taught me the value of teamwork, attention to detail, and putting myself in the user's shoes. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked there and look forward to applying the lessons I learned to my future design projects.
